System DigiPanels also at Corinthia Hotel St.Petersburg !
Since February 2010 our new digital signage system DigiPanels serves to hotel guests and conference attendees at Corinthia Hotel St. Petersburg.
The entire system consists of 3 x 46" LCD monitors, 1 x 32" LCD monitor, 10x19" LCD monitors Samsung, control units and managing software. The hotel has received state-of the-art system, which allows to inform easily and immediately hotel guests about all the events within the hotel, incl. time and meeting rooms, weather forecast and other useful information in a very attractive style.

Aldemar Hotels choose DigiPanels. by Mikenopa, as the main information network for guests, in public areas of the hotel. High Definition LCD panels have been installed, informing guests about Hotel news and promotions, latest world news in English and Russian, on-line weather forecasts, exchange rates and daily offers in restaurants. DigiPanels also informs guests about upcoming meetings and conferences and navigates them to the right meeting room. The system has been extended by advertising module, allowing for scheduled marketing campaigns of the hotel and third party advertisers. Information in DigiPanels are either automatically retrieved from internet or entered easily by hotel personnel.

At today.s joint press conference, representatives of Cisco Systems and Mikenopa ICT presented technologies in one of the largest congress hotels in the Czech Republic, the Clarion Congress Hotel Prague. This hotel has the potential to fulfil the requirements of even the most demanding conference organisers and social events, offering 559 rooms, 4000 m2 of conference space, 18 conference rooms and halls, and a conference hall with a capacity of 1600 participants. All modern ICT technology was supplied and integrated by Mikenopa a.s., known as the top supplier in the most modern ICT technology and services for hotels.
The conference space is equipped with the most modern audio and video technology, cable and wireless access to high-speed internet. The LCD panel system DigiPanels with 3D maps serves to orientate and inform guests. Hotel rooms are equipped with 26. LCD Samsung televisions, Acentic pay-tv systems, automatic mini-bars, high-speed Internet and primarily IP Cisco IP telephone with colour touch display.
Ingenious interconnection of individual systems supports hotel orientation in conference services and provides greater comfort to conference participants. For example, the picture from cameras positioned in the main conference hall and rooms is sent to the directorial workplace, from where it can be distributed to the tele-wall of the Digipanels system and at the same time, sent via free television channels to guest rooms. Successfull installation of Wi-Fi in InterContinental Athens !
In one of the leading business hotels in Athens -Athenaeum InterContinental Athens (*****) the Mikenopa Company successfully finished one of the most complex installation of Wi-Fi solution for the hotel guests. The solution is based on Cisco Systems technology, which is definitely the most robust, reliable and advaced technology for Internet services.
To cover all the 550 guest rooms, 30 meeting rooms and Ethniki Conference Centre (positioned 300 metres from the hotel premise) they used 75 Access Points, automatically managed by inteligentWLAN controler Cisco 4400 with Cisco Wireless Control System. All the guest network relay on the high-efficiency core switches Cisco Catalyst 4510R. The management of data stream NetFlow is added to the system management.
The whole technology solution was installed in record breaking time 4 weeks during July and August 2007. The first weeks of the system operation brought the positive public acceptance for the substantial service quality improvement and rapid revenue growth from High-Speed Internet service in this hotel premise.

The last stop of the roadshow called HotelShow 2006 took place at HORAL hotel in Spindleruv Mlyn. The first round of HotelShow Event was successfull !
Altogether 40 hoteliers used the opportunity to visit Hotel Show-Autumn 2006 in 3 destinations (Brno, Bratislava, Tatranska Lomnica). Today during the HotelShow at Intercontinental Hotel Brno the Mikenopa company launched the new servis for the hotel guests . HotelPrint.
The HotelPrint service is the printing service for the hotel guests.
This new service is bringing to hoteliers security, reliability, new revenue driving service. The HotelPrint means for the hotel guests to enjoy printing services from the comfort of the hotel room without any giving sensitive data on flash disks to hotel staff or installing printer drivers into their notebooks.
